Buttery button mushrooms



Nice side dish, goes well with meat, fish or just on its own.


Serves 2:
  • 10-15 medium size button mushrooms, halved
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • Knob of butter
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • Bit of dried parsley
  1. Clean the mushrooms, halve them.
  2. Peel the onion and chop it finely.
  3. Melt the butter in a frying pan and first add onion, cook for a few minutes until they are transparent and soft.
  4. Add the mushrooms and season it with salt, pepper and parsley. Cook for another 4-5 minutes until everything is done.
  5. Serve warm.
