Grilled Dijon Mackerel Fillets

One of the simplest yet so tasty ways to prepare mackerel.


Serves 4:

  • 4 mackerel fillets, about 250 g each


  • 4 tsp Dijon mustard
  1. Preheat the grill to high. 
  2. Wash the fish and pat dry on kitchen paper, ensuring that all the black skin from the gut has been removed. Lay the fillets skin-side down and spread the flesh with mustard.
  3. Grill the mackerel for about 5 minutes until the flesh is no longer translucent.
  4. Serve at once with the potato salad and some green beans.
